The four-day clean energy event will feature a presentation from Landis+Gyr on the role of grid edge technology in meeting future energy demands in rural environments.

RE+ is North America’s leading event for the clean energy industry combining business opportunities and education content across sectors including solar, energy storage, hydrogen, microgrids, EV charging and infrastructure, and wind. This year's Las Vegas-based event will be held from September 8 - 11 and will host more than 40,000 clean energy professionals. Landis+Gyr is proud to be contributing to the conversations at RE+ as we are joining multiple key sessions on transmission and distribution, load growth, electrification, and grid modernization and resilience.  

On Tuesday, September 9th from 1:00 to 1:30 p.m. Shishir Shekhar, Practice Director, Americas, Edge to Enterprise AI and IoT Solutions, will speak at the session, "Bridging the Gap: Innovative Solutions for Rural Electrification."

In this session, Shishir will be joined by Gary Lemay, Director of Facilities at New Hampshire Electrical Cooperative, to discuss solutions to create smarter, decentralized energy networks for rural communities that focus on flexibility, resiliency, sustainability, and cost-savings.  

We'll take a deeper dive into how DERMS, grid edge intelligence, and next gen AMI are bringing tangible results to rural utilities.
